Once you log into a site using 1Password, can you continue on with that session in Safari or do you have to stay in the 1Password browser for that?
Dave Hamilton replied:
Not on iOS, no. You must stick inside their app-contained browser for the session to stay alive.
Michael Johnston replied:
Don't you find it funny that I don't know the answer to this question when they have a review quote from iPhone Alley in their description? ;)
That's too bad and the reason why I rarely use it on the iPhone.
Michael Johnston replied:
Although you can copy the password out of 1Password, correct?
Dave Hamilton replied:
Yep, you can. It's an easy thing to manage.
I'm new to password managers but I do not find this thing to be very useful at all? Am I using this thing correctly or what? It is cumbersome to use, on the iPad or the iPhone and the updates.... well you seem to have to keep in paying for them too?
Michael Johnston replied:
Hey Brett! I didn't really use this version of 1Password, but I believe the newer version is quite similar. Unfortunately it's cumbersome by design due to Apple's restrictions. Any password you save in 1Password has to be retrieved by going into the app and either copying it out or accessing the web page using the built-in browser.

This is the primary reason I didn't adopt it in my daily workflow for so long.

This is one of the two best apps for cataloging passwords and other personal data. Encrypts the data, and allows you to share on your mac or PC as well as other i-Things. So Cool.
