I have used PDF pen on the Mac for ages and I bought PDF pen for iPad and iPhone as soon as they were available. They are fiddly to use, especially the iPhone version, but very handy when needed. PDF pen also makes a useful tool for syncing PDF documents between devices, as an alternative to DropBox.

I had really hoped that this would let me write on PDFs the way that I can with a wacom tablet and PDF Pen on my Mac - and it kind of does ... but its a pretty awful experience. If your wrist touches the screen while writing it zooms in and out and the page moves around. It's OK if all you want to do is sign a PDF at the bottom - but if you are wanting to do much writing its simply frustrating to use. (and with a hefty price tag)PDFpen for iPad

I use this app for two purposes: a scanner where I can join the scans into a single PDF and as a virtual whiteboard. I use this app every day.
